- Link:
- URL of a website, for example www.google.com
Normally a link is placed inside a category. - Category:
- The most common use of a category is to put links in it,
though special categories may be created for other purposes. - Special Category:
- Most categories contain links, but a special category contains something else, such as a search form.
- Subject:
- The first part of the links2start.com URL (the subdomain) indicates the subject of the page.
For example in travel.links2start.com, "travel" is the subject of the page, which has links relevant to the travel industry.
- Subjects List:
- This is a list of all the available subject pages sorted in alphabetical order.
Definition of roles.
- Subject Editor:
- Each subject has its own subject editor, who can place and edit links on that subject page.
- Admin:
- The admin webmaster can edit the entire links2start.com domain (all subject pages).
- Visitor:
- This is a website user, who may be viewing the home page at www.links2start.com or a subject page.
- Advertiser:
- This is someone who has purchased a link.
